February 2004 - New semestr has come
at the college and the study is gonna be really hard this year. I had a go from Kladno to Prag with a new Audi TT
1.8 156k with a turbo - my friend Jirka Vosmik let me drive it and it was great, so fast, so stable, all the other ugly
VW Passats and Skoda Superbs were just left behind us and we kept smiling when seeing them in the backmirror.... That car is going at the speed of around 250 kilometers per hour...
January 2004 - I am looking forward
to my winter and summer holidays. I do not know where to go in summer so far but most probably to Slovakia (Mala Fatra Mountains)
and then somewhere to the seaside (possibly to Croatia or Spain). I awfully envy my friend Michal Kostal that is just
now in the New Zealand for one year...
November 2003 - Hallo people! I know,
that these web pages are often out-of-date, but lot of time takes my school. It seems to me that subjects like mathematics,
statistics or financial mathematics I cannot never manage. Does anybody want to give me private tutor classes? Thanks for
offers in advance ... By the way, I am already preparing third version of my personal web pages, which should not be only
static like this one, but there will be possible to insert some comments or to download for example some programs, more photos
or alternatively other groovy stuff...
July 2003 - I was on holiday in CROATIA with my girlfriend. And also I got a new car - Skoda Fabia 1.4
Comfort
June 2003 - I went to AUSTRIA
for a couple of days to climb up 3086 m high peek called Granat Spitze in Alpen.
April 2003
- I bought a new second hand vehicle Skoda Favorit 136L (Green colour)
March 2003 - I moved to a nice
rented flat 60 m3 in the town of Stochov (it is about 35 km from the capital, Prague)
January 2003
- I went skiing to AUSTRIA for a week.
The area was called Mölltaler Gletscher & Ankogel.
Nov 2002 - Winter has arrived soon
this year in Kladno....I just want to send you my best greetings, hoping yor are well and happy. I am recently working in
Citibank in Prague and just about to buy a new small flat. Xmas is comming which reminds me that I am one year older again.
I love you everyone!!! please send me a Christmas card!!! see you one day...
May 2002 - I have been rafting and
canyoning in the northern part of ITALY called
South Tyrol for a week ( a mountain range in the Western Dolomites). Some of beautiful villages and towns I visited included
Merano, Brunico, Campo Tures... It was such a nice adventure that I managed overcome my own limits several times and so I
did. I tried rafting for the first time on the rivers Adige, Passirio, Aurina and Eisack, which boast rapids from level II.
to V. In Other words, the journey varied from small, smooth, beginner rapids to jostling, deep, wild, difficult-to-navigate
rapids where you need a guide. Furthermore I tried canyoning, which means a rope-down from a bridge, sliding and jumping through
gorges and in waterfalls, traversing canyons and going along smooth rocky passages surrounded by 3000-3500 metres high peaks
covered with fresh snowcaps. There is so much more to do in this region than drink and go clubbing on the weekends. I think
this was the right experience to get a feel for the fun in life (with a tingle in my stomach, though)
April 2002 - The time has come for
me to say: GOODBYE ENGLAND. Oh yes, back to the Czech Republic, back to an unknown future. 13th
of April = my departure date! Well, what comes next???
March 2002 - Finally Spring! Everything
is getting warm and green, but - of course - not without typical English rain showers all the time. To start this month I
had a very very very nice time in FRANCE
(Paris). It was really great there. I am talking here about sunny weather, friendly chatty people, many new places to
visit, tasty food, new culture to explore, new friends and moreover a lot of fun. It was a lot of walking, I can tell you!
I managed to visit many of the popular sites in Paris such as the Eiffel Tower (admission for the top stage is 9.90 Euros),
the Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Moulin Rouge Cabaret, the Musée du Louvre, the gothic Notre Dame, the Basilica
of Sacre Coeur and a couple of bars, restaurants and discos. To sum up, it was amazing! I think I need to buy new shoes and
some days to rest...
February 2002 - Nothing new really. I am still stuck in
ENGLAND, in the same place, meeting
the same people. I went to STONEHENGE last week, which was quite a boring experience. It was not exactly as I had expected,
but never mind, it is always good to see new things. I also went to Salisbury, but it was raining all the time and very windy,
so now I know lots of Cafes and the Cathedral there, but only so I could be under a roof. My umbrella broke in gale force
winds. Otherwise I joined the Internet and the Current Affairs class at the college. There are a few new Czechs around, but
I didn't really have a chance to meet up with them. I am sticking to a routine of going to the gym at least 3 times a week,
which is good.
January 2002 - Just to let you know what I am doing and thinking at the moment. Well,
after Christmas, which I spent back at home, in my lovely country, I am still working in the South of England as an au-pair
(don't laugh). But my time here in England is slowly coming to an end. The ultimate moment will be the 13th of April, because
my flight is already booked (huraaahhh, I'll see my girlfriend again (hopefully)). Studying English is quite a tiring activity,
therefore I am going to study either reflexology (massage) or computing this term. My future from April is not clear yet,
but I am sure I will work it out. I have thought about going to AUSTRALIA to pay the university fees (which is quite expensive)
and get permission to work legally or to go to the USA and work there again as an au-pair, which would hardly cost anything.
God knows where I'll end up.
